K2 Commonwealth Snowboard
An item from K2 Snowboarding
Overview
The K2 Commonwealth is a directional all-mountain snowboard for riders who like the versatility of a freeride shape but want a stronger, more supportive feel. It uses the Passport's general geometry with a firmer construction for faster turns, steeper runs and committed riding. Camber, an A1 wood core and triax fiberglass give it an energetic response, while Spectral Braid™ helps tune how the board twists from nose to tail. The 7/10 flex is supportive without reaching the stiffness of the Alchemist. It is a good option if your days mix carving, natural terrain and softer snow and you prefer a board that responds when you put more into it.
Features
-
A1 Wood Core
Aspen supplies snap, bamboo reinforces the areas underfoot and lighter paulownia reduces weight toward the tip and tail. The combination gives the board a lively, supportive feel.
-
Spectral Braid™
Variable fiber angles tune twisting response along the board independently of its lengthwise flex. This helps balance a stable platform with predictable turn initiation.
-
Triax Fiberglass
Diagonal fiber layers add torsional support for stronger edge hold and a more settled feel when riding with speed.
-
Directional Shape
Taper and a directional outline favor forward riding and help the board move through softer snow while retaining a dependable platform on groomers.
-
Wax-Infused Sintered 4001 Base
A wax-retaining sintered base provides a smooth glide across changing snow. Regular waxing helps maintain that performance throughout the season.
