Volkl Racetiger WC SL R FIS Ski w/Plate
An item from Volkl
Overview
The Volkl Racetiger SL R WC FIS w/Plate slalom ski is the perfect ski for ambitious U16, U18 and older athletes. The Tailored Carbon Tip offers a very precise, direct and reliable shovel response, which helps the athlete to take a shorter and narrower radius to the gate. The geometry also works in this direction and make it possible to ski a shorter way in front of the gate and thus a tighter and faster turn at every single gate. Two layers of full titanal, the world cup woodcore a mix of ash- and poplar wood and full sidewalls give the ski the necessary stability and dynamism to find the fastest line in the gates.
The package is rounded off with a pre-mounted Marker World Cup Interface plate and our factory race tuning for an excellent power transmission and edge grip. This is a FIS-Approved SL ski.
Features
-
Powered by Titanium:
The titanium setup makes the ski agile and dynamic. Especially friends of a hard, fast and aggressive riding style benefit from the quick response of this construction.
-
Base P-Tex 2510:
A sintered high-density and high molecular polyethylene base with great gliding characteristics and high durability.
-
Full Sidewall Phenol:
The special surface structure in combination with the material composition reduces icing because it allows the snow to simply slide off. This leads to a drastic reduction in weight during use up to 20 - 30%. Thanks to the lighter skis, long and steep descents can be better managed.
-
Marker WC Plate:
High-speed racing like the pros. Thanks to Piston Control, an integrated hydraulic oil piston, even the smallest bit of energy is converted into speed.
-
Recommended binding:
Marker Comp 16 or 20NG
