Jones Women's Howler Snowboard
An item from Jones Snowboards
Overview
The Jones Women's Howler snowboard is a responsive freeride board for confident riders who also enjoy jumps and natural features. Designed with Elena Hight and Victor de Le Rue, it combines a directional shape with High Power Camber for strong edge control and a supportive tail. The firm flex rewards deliberate riding, while the Power Core, carbon/flax reinforcement and Koroyd® help manage the forces and vibration of faster terrain. It is a good choice when your riding calls for precise turns and committed takeoffs rather than a soft, relaxed board.
Features
-
High Power Camber
Pronounced tip-to-tail camber and an extended flat area under the rear inserts create a supportive tail for loading turns and taking off from natural features.
-
Medium Traction Tech
Additional contact points along each edge help the board hold a turn on firm snow.
-
Medium 3D Contour Base
Spoon-shaped contours near the tips reduce edge drag as you roll into a turn and help the board move more smoothly through soft snow.
-
Power Core
Bamboo, paulownia and poplar form a triple-density wood core. Centered bamboo stringers add strength and response, while paulownia helps keep weight down. Multi-axis fiberglass adds torsional support for precise turns and a stronger response through variable snow.
-
Koroyd® damping
Lightweight synthetic core material helps absorb vibration and reduce tip swing weight, supporting quicker, smoother direction changes.
-
ampliTex™ carbon/flax stringers
Carbon and flax fibers reinforce the board, combining responsive support with a natural-fiber component in the construction.
-
Sintered 8000 Base
A durable, wax-absorbing sintered base supports smooth glide across changing snow conditions.
