Head Raptor WCR 4 RV Boot
An item from Head
Overview
The Head Raptor WCR 4 RV alpine race ski boot is for racers who need a close fit and direct control over the ski. Its narrow race-volume shell and adjustable 130/120 flex provide firm support for driving through a turn. Cuff alignment, rear support tuning and an adjustable liner tongue give a boot fitter room to tailor the setup to the skier. This is a very snug race fit, so fit and stance should be assessed in person.
Features
Close race fit
The low-volume shell keeps the foot closely connected to the boot for precise input to the ski. The extended toe box provides additional space at the front while retaining the narrow race fit.
Adjustable flex and support
Racing flex tuning provides 130/120 settings. Rear support tuning and a racing spoiler allow the support behind the lower leg to be adjusted to the skier.
Racing WCR Pro LF liner
The liner includes an adjustable tongue, an option for laces and a racing footbed, giving the fitter several ways to refine how the foot and lower leg sit in the boot.
Precise closure
Four screwed, micro-adjustable Spineflex racing alloy buckles allow small changes in tension. Low-profile race buckles and the 53 mm strap secure the shell and cuff.
Stance tuning
Cuff alignment and a flat foam wedge provide a starting point for individual setup. The race stance uses 13 degrees of forward lean and a 4 degree ramp angle.
Race construction
The Racing PU shell and cuff provide the structure for strong, direct skiing. FIS-approved sole thickness is part of the race-specific construction.
