The Junior Layer Cut Resistant Tights are POC's next generation of cut-resistant protection for ski racing, made to balance a high level of safety with the freedom of movement required at elite speeds. With a 4-star rating in FIS CRG 2021, this cut resistant protection uses an all-over UHMWPE-based knit engineered for maximum safety while being shaped for comfort in the tucked position.

Constructed entirely from a cut-resistant fabric engineered with UHMWPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene), polyester and glass fibres in a tight double-knit structure, the Layer Cut Resistant Tights provide full leg coverage to increase your protection against lacerations. These tights are entirely constructed from cut-resistant fabric, ensuring consistent safety across all areas that might be affected in a crash. The double-knit construction delivers durability and stability, while offering as much stretch as possible for unrestricted movement.

To enhance comfort during long training sessions and race days, flatlock seams are positioned to minimise chafing. A wide, tight elastic waistband with silicone gripper keeps the tights securely in place, while thin mesh elastic with silicone at the lower legs reduces bulk where layering with socks and boots is essential. The construction of the back is body-mapped so that the primary stretch direction follows the natural motion of the body, supporting your movement in the tucked position without compromising protection. With a 4-star rating in FIS CRG 2021, the Layer Cut Resistant Tights have been developed to meet the demands and requirements of high-speed ski racing.In the event of an accident, the fabric can be stretched to enable it to be cut open to assist with safe removal.
