Maplus 40.60sm Base Wax World Cup Reserved

The Maplus 40.60sm Base wax is a specially formulated mix of soft and med base wax developed for World Cup team service technicians. This is a great saturation wax to first use after skis have been newly prepped or stone ground, as it helps to create a strong bond between virgin polyethylene and paraffin waxes. It creates a stable and fast base for subsequent layers of racing waxes. The special composition of the wax provides optimal hardness for medium-cold conditions and highly variable snow, typical for top events in the range of mild to negative temperatures.

The wax provides maximum adhesion to the base, high abrasion resistance and consistent feel on various types of snow. Thanks to its composition, it works not only as a base for racing waxes, but also as an effective form of protection of the base structure during transport and storage of skis.
