The Volkl Racetiger GS R JR is a proven GS junior ski that is a result of Volkl's continued development and focus on the younger athlete. The Racetiger GS R JR has been completely redesigned. Like the Racetiger SL R JR, it was tested and developed with Volkl's ski legends and their children. The result is a different geometry with a slightly wider shovel, which provides more turning support and helps young racers largely place their turns above the gates. Another highlight is the ‘scaled structure’. All lengths are equipped with a tip rocker, full sidewall, Speedwall wood core and two layers of full Titanal. As the thickness of the Titanal and the mixing ratio of the wood changes from length to length, the skis ‘grow’ with their athletes so that they are always optimally tailored to the needs of each target group. The package is completed with a pre-mounted Marker JR Race Interface plate, which has been matched to the ski and thus offers excellent power transmission, edge grip and bending characteristics.

Base P-Tex 4504: A sintered, ultra-high molecular polyethylene base with an extremely high density. Besides a great wear resistance and perfect wax absorption the P-Tex 4504 is extremely fast and exclusively used on our top of the line and race models. The material has been upgraded with special additives to make it thermal and electro-conductive and proves its qualities with premium glide and maximum speed in races..
Full Sidewall ABS: The specific synthetic substance of the entire sidewall enables a precise and direct power transfer.
Marker junior race interface: Smooth and round ski flex combined with a direct and reliable power transmission and more stability. Available in 2 size options: two-piece construction for shorter lengths (sole length: 190mm - 294mm) or one-piece construction with hinge for longer skis (sole length: 230mm - 334mm).
