Ski Magazine Shop of the Year Award -2009

Aspen East has been recognized as SKI Magazine's 2009 Shop of the Year for the Northeast. SKI Magazine bestowed their esteemed Gold Medal Award to Aspen East at the SnowSports Industry Assocation Trade Show in Denver on January 28, 2010. Aspen East was nominated one of the Top 60 Ski Shops, then it was narrowed down to 5 regional winners with Aspen East being honored with Best Ski Shop in all of New England, making them one of the Top 5 in North America! It's no wonder they have been #1 for 34 years, with their motto, "Quality has no competition".

Aspen East has been receiving Top Shop awards for over 20 years, since they began with Snow Country, Ski Business and Skier Magazines. Every year since SKI Magazine started the Gold Medal Awards, Aspen East has won the Top Ski Shop Gold Medal Award, with their first New England Regional Award in 2006. The winning shops were selected from thousands of ski shops in North America by a panel of industry experts including manufacturers, product managers, and SKI editors. Shops are rated by many criteria, such as staff expertise, product selection, customer service, tuning, bootfitting and innovative programs.

Aspen East has been recognized as SKI Magazine's 2006 Shop of the Year for the Northeast. Awarded at the 2006 SnowSports Industries of America industry trade event in Las Vegas, NV, this award recognizes our commitment and devotion to the sport, customer service, and experienced staff.

The award is chosen by a panel of experts from within the industry, including SKI Magazine editors, manufacturers and product representatives. Rated in six categories, shops were evaluated on staff expertise, selection, price and value, backshop and tuning, bootfitting and innovative programs promoting the sport. Winning shops in each region were chosen from 1500 ski shops in North America.

Aspen East was recently voted "Best area ski shop in New England" by the New England Winter Sports Representatives (NEWSR) at the Rhode Island Convention Center.
